Please Don't Forget....

2 Chronicles 7:13-15  NLT

13 At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you. 14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 15 My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place.

I have no doubt that most of us who blog and live in the world of adoption  or know someone who has adopted think about those precious little ones remaining in Russia.  We grieve for those children and the families who would move heaven and earth to bring them home.  And there are those who have not yet been matched with their families....those that are just waiting.

I wanted to share this video with everyone.  Faces of the Ban     It is precious. It is heartbreaking. It is truth.  These are real children. They are not just papers in a file folder. Not just a number. Not just a "case".  They are precious little people made in the image of our Creator and they are no less important or worthy than you or I.  Please PLEASE keep praying for this issue to be resolved. For hearts to be moved to compassion and passion for these children!

As I watch this I am humbled by what I spend my energy on... what I dwell on as so important and urgent. I am left to look at the sinfulness of my flesh and the futile worries of what is really so unimportant.  God help us all to see these children with your eyes. Melt our hearts with yours. Give us the desire to put your commands into action. Not just with good intentions, not just with a random prayer.  God, please hear the prayers of your people.

I might add....this video was put together by a sweet 14 yr. old girl who has a heart for the orphan as big as the globe!  The next generation..... thank you Sarah!

Back In

Ephesians 6:10-12
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.  For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

I am hopeful that seeing this will bring a smile to your face.   The Lord is so so good.  He is always at work and He is always with us!  We are so thankful for His love for us and that He never gives up on us and never lets us give up either.  This is a picture of progress!
A heart and soul learning to love and trust!  Praise to the Father!
Thank you Jesus! for this special and extremely brave little boy!

Levi's verse...

And you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free!
